The late Willie Meighan of Kilkenny’s Rollercoaster Records was announced as the winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Live Music Award at the IMRO’s in Dublin last night.
His wife Aisling collected the award at the ceremony held in IMRO Headquarters.
Set Theatre were also winners on the night collecting the prize for Best live venue in the rest of Leinster.
Seven Oaks had also been nominated in that category.
Kilkenny TradFest was in the running to retain its title as Best Small music festival but missed out to Another Love Story on the night.
