Leadership change at Piltown municipal district annual meeting

The first of seven local electoral areas has held its annual AGM today.

Councillors in the Piltown Municipal District met in Ferrybank at lunchtime, where Fianna Fáil’s Ger Frisby was elected Cathaoirleach, with Jenny Catt Slattery appointed as Vice Chair.

Speaking afterwards, Cllr. Frisby said all councillors in the district work well together in a spirit of cooperation.
