Leinster Fleadh Cheoil comes to Kilkenny this week for the first time in 12 years

Kilkenny will be reeling in the visitors over the next couple of days as the Leinster Fleadh Cheoil gets underway today!

This is the first time in almost 12 years that the music festival will take place in Kilkenny City.

Competitors from all over the province are coming to partake in the many competitions in various venues including Gaelscoil Osraí, the Presentation Secondary School and the Watershed.

The craic agus ceol will continue until this Sunday the 10th of July.
