A group will meet with the National Transport Authority again in the coming weeks as they try to find a solution to planned cuts to local bus routes.
June has been set as the deadline – thats when Bus Eireann plan to axe the services that pass through Castlecomer and North Kilkenny on the Cork to Dublin route.
The working group have made a submission recently that would see 6 services retained.
Councillor Maurice Shortall says its up to locals now to demonstrate the need for those services.
