Local schools will be allowed hold 10% of places for children of former pupils

It’s been confirmed that primary schools in Carlow and Kilkenny will be allowed to hold 10 per cent of places for the children of former pupils.

Education Minister Jan O’Sullivan’s announced the measure as part of a new Admission to Schools Bill.

She made the announcement at the INTO National Congress in Ennis this morning.
