Locals are being urged to have their eircode stuck up in their houses in case it’s needed in an emergency.
The call comes from Callan Fire Service who are urging everyone to know how to react in the event of an emergency.
According to the crew, the most important thing is education, and they’re doing workshops with children in schools locally.
Damien is fire chief in Callan, he told KCLR that eircodes can be vital for getting the emergency services to a location in time.
