Lotto tickets worth more than €200,000 sold in Carlow town

Carlow’s reputation as a lucky lotto town continues.
A store in Graiguecullen has sold tickets worth more than €100,000 each for the past 2 weeks running.
The match 5 plus the bonus tickets for the last 2 Saturday draws were both sold in Dunnes stores on the Sleaty road.
In June two local binmen won a prize of €224,498 when they also matched five numbers plus the bonus.
Carlow is also still home to the current highest Lotto jackpot win in the 30 year history of the National Lottery.
The ‘Dan Morrissey syndicate’ of 16 won the jackpot of €18.9 million back in 2008.
