Man in his 40’s charged over drugs seizure in Carlow town

A man has been charged in Carlow this evening in connection with a major drugs seizure yesterday afternoon.
€100,000  worth of Cannabis Herb was discovered as part of an organised search in the town.
Gardaí from the Kilkenny/Carlow Drugs Unit were involved in the search of a premises in Carlow town.

The man in his 40’s has been charged this evening – he’ll appear before the central courts of Justice tomorrow.

He’s being kept in Garda custody until the hearing.
