Man arrested in Carlow on suspicion of drug driving

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Carlow.

The local roads policing unit stopped a car on the Dublin Road at Ballyvergal at around 2.30am on Friday.

The driver was arrested following a roadside drugs test and was brought to the Garda station where a sample was taken for further analysis.
