A man was taken to hospital following an assault in County Carlow.
It happened at about 2am yesterday (Friday) morning on the Royal Oak Road in Bagenalstown.
Garda Lisa Mullins has more; “The injured party was walking home and was assaulted by an unknown male, the injured party sustained facial injuries and a number of broken teeth and was taken to St Luke’s Hospital for assessment”.
She adds; “We’re just appealing to anyone that may have seen this incident or may have noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at that hour of the morning on the Royal Oak Road in Bagenalstown”.
