Man still being questioned by Gardaí following death of teenager in County Kildare

Gardaí­ are still questioning a man about the death of a teenager in County Kildare.

The 16-year-old boy died after being struck by a car in an alleged hit and run near Robertstown.

It happened in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A postmortem will be carried out on the teenagers body today.

A man in his forties was arrested and can be held for up to 24 hours.
