Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan new owners of a castle in the South East

Mark Zuckerberg has bought reportedly bought a castle in the south east.

The Irish Times reports that the billionaire Meta chief executive and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are the new owners of Strancally Castle in County Waterford.

It’s claimed the couple completed the purchase of the Gothic-revival style house and its 440-acre estate on the banks of the river Blackwater several weeks ago.

While the purchase price is not yet known, the estate, which is a 30-minute drive from Youghal, could have gone for anything between €20million and €30million.
