Minister Helen McEntee tells Kilkenny city army base leaders to get plans ready for potential funding

The future of Stephens Barracks appears safe. 

Despite €5million being invested in the Kilkenny City army headquarters in recent years, concerns have been raised at times over the continuation of employment there.

Minister Helen McEntee visited local troops and their facilities yesterday before attending last night’s Kilkenny Chamber President’s Dinner where she told KCLR’s John Purcell of her promise to the team at the local base, amid a wide range of topics.
