Mother of boy with cerebral palsy says they’re not getting anywhere with mobility grant

The mother of a boy with severe cerebral palsy says she’s hoping to meet the Disability Minister in the next few weeks about the mobility grant.
Maggie Butler from Killenaule is looking for the grant to be reinstated so that they can update the vehicle they use to transport their son Alex.
Alex is five years old and has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, sleep apnea and has to be fed through a tube.
The mobility grant was scrapped in 2013 and was to be re-introduced but Maggie told KCLR they feel like they’re not getting anywhere.
