Motorcyclist taken to hospital following multi-vehicle crash in Carlow

One man has been hospitalised after a crash earlier this morning in Carlow.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred on the Leighlin Road in Graiguecullen at around 8am.

The driver of a motorcycle was taken to St Lukes General Hospital with serious injuries.

The road has been sealed off for a technical examination and Gardaí are directing traffic away from the stretch between the traffic lights in Graiguecullen to the swimming pool.
