Mount Wolseley to host European Challenge Golf Tour

A local golf course has landed a deal to stage a prestigious golf tour for the next three years.

The Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa and Golf resort is to host the European Challenge tour from the 8th to the 11th of October this year and again in 2016 and 2017.

The competition is the undercard to the European Tour and has featured the likes of Martin Kaymer and Henrik Stenson in the past.

Bernard Gibbons, the Director of Golf for Tetrarch who own Mount Wolseley says they had to meet a certain criteria to host it.
