Motorists are being advised to drive with caution this morning after reports of black ice on some roads.
The N77 Kilkenny to Portlaoise road has reopened after a multiple car crash earlier this morning (9am).

It’s understood that there were two collisions – one involving four cars – between Hennebry’s cross to the turn off to Ardaloo.
The road was closed for a time while emergency services were at the scene but no serious injuries were reported.
