New market garden opens at Kilkenny School of Food in Thomastown this morning

A new ‘Market Garden’ is being launched in Thomastown today by the School of Food.

Their Head Gardener, John Kelly, will provide gardening tips to the public while representatives from Grow It Yourself will also be on hand to offer advice for those looking to develop their own vegetable gardens.

You can enjoy themed walks in the lush surroundings of the Market Garden while there will be willow and seed workshops.

There will also be gardening games for children and it all got underway at 11am.
