Organisers of a pop-up ‘Activity Hub’ in Carlow’s Town Park are hoping it’ll encourage more people to get out and use the amenities there.
It’s hoped a permanent hub will be put in place before too long but in the meantime a temporary one has been set up for the month of August.

You can get involved in a range of activities including kayaking, stand-up paddling, bike hire, treasure hunts, and orienteering.
Martha Duggan from Carlow Sports Partnership told KCLR News that the idea behind this pop-up hub is to get locals to try out the activities with a view to rolling them out on a more permanent basis if the interest levels are there.
