Emergency services are dealing with a crash in Co Kilkenny.
It’s understood a car hit a tree just before 8am on the Gowran to Clashwilliam Road, on the back road between Gowran and Bennettsbridge.

Gardaí are attending as well as units from Kilkenny fire brigade and paramedics.
No major injuries have been reported and a tow truck’s on the way.

Motorists are asked to avoid the stretch for the next half hour or so – some eye witnesses have told KCLR News they turned around.
