There’s no real progress on the horizon for Ferrybank Shopping Centre.
That’s according to South Kilkenny Councillor Pat Dunphy after councillors were given an update it at this week’s municipal district meeting.
The centre had been embroiled in a legal dispute around internal planning issues but those are now understood to have been resolved.
Back in January, a number of amendments were made to the application for the centre which were said to be more of a “tidying-up affair”.
Councillor Dunphy told KCLR News it’s unlikely that we’ll see any real movement in the near future…
