No trains running through Kilkenny or Carlow this weekend
Iarnród Eireann is carrying out upgrade works on the Waterford to Dublin line
If you’re due to take the train this weekend you might want to make new plans.
Iarnród Eireann has major works taking place across their network this weekend,starting today Good Friday.
It will include the upgrading of the signalling system at Kilkenny Station.
That means bus transfers will be operating between Waterford & Dublin Heuston from today until Easter Monday.
As a result no trains will travel on that line which also serves Thomastown, Kilkenny City, Bagenalstown & Carlow Town.
