Notices to vacate served on ‘illegal encampment’ on council-owned land in Carlow

Moves have been made to clear what’s been described as an ‘illegal encampment’ in Carlow.

A large number of caravans gained access to council owned lands between Éire Óg and the Ballinacarrig Road on Sunday with notices to vacate issued yesterday evening.
