A number of homes in the Castlecomer and Old Leighlin areas were hit by burglars on Wednesday of last week (15th March).
Gardaí say most of the homes had their rear windows broken and were ransacked between 8am and 6pm.
Garda Michelle Byrne says they’re appealing for people that saw anything suspicious in the areas to get in contact.
