The number of people getting the Pandemic Unemployment Payment locally is rising again.
There’s 1-thousand-644 getting the PUP across the two counties this week, 1-thousand-and-66 in Kilkenny with a further 578 in Carlow.

That’s up 182 and 67 respectively since before Christmas.
The benefit re-opened for workers affected by the latest Covid restrictions in December.
