O’Brien to Lead Against Scots

Tullow native Sean O’Brien will lead Ireland out as captain for the first time in the Aviva Stadium this Saturday.

The Leinster player has been named at number 8 for the second of Ireland’s World Cup warm up games.

O’Brien is the 104th player to be named as Irish captain.

Irish coach Joe Schmidt has labelled Sean O’Brien a ‘leader of men’ and believes he is an ideal selection for captain.
