A national school in Kilkenny is officially opening its new extension this morning.
Clinstown National School in Jenkinstown is launching its special classroom that caters for children with an ASD diagnosis.
The extension includes a new mainstream classroom, a multi-sensory room, a store room and a par-educational room.
The size of the school yard was also increased and a new car park constructed.
Since the extension of the school building student numbers have increased by 119 this year.
