Oil Spill reported in Slieverue as clean up and traffic controls put in place

An oil spill has occurred on the N25 from New Ross to Waterford.

Waterford City Fire and Rescue are on the scence between the Luffany Roundabout and the Slieverue Roundabout and will have the area affected treated and restored to safe use as soon as possible.

Traffic Management will be in place while the clean-up works are being carried out. Motorists who intend to use the aforementioned road are advised to plan their journey accordingly taking into account possible delays or alternatively advised to take an alternate route in the short term.
