One Carlow councillor has called for more spaces at Bagenalstown Station saying people are “marooned”

A Local councillor has called for action to be taken in relation to the carpark at Mhuine Bheag Train Station, after a student missed their train due to there being no parking available.

Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Daniel Pender made the comments after the constituent contacted him, though noted that addressing the issue is long overdue.

Cllr. Pender called for additional car parking spaces to be made available at the station, and said that without more spaces being provided, people are effectively marooned.
