Kilkenny County Council has officially taken ownership of the former Clover Meats Social Club building and lands.
An EGM recently saw the membership agree to make the transfer.

The council will now form a masterplan and apply for funding through the ORIS for a recreational and community use.
Director of Services with the local authority Sean McKeown told KCLR News; “It’s the communities and residents in the wider Ferrybank area that we’ll be engaging with on the lands at the former Clover Centre to see what their views are, taking into consideration the recreational infrastructure that’s now been delivered in the last 12 years”.
