Paulstown boxing club issue appeal for people not to donate money to ‘bogus’ callers

Paulstown boxing club is warning locals not to hand money over to anyone claiming to be from the club.

It comes after a man allegedly called to a number of houses in Carlow town recently collecting money for the 2020 Olympics.

KCLR News understands that the man went door-to-door looking for money, which he claimed was to benefit Paulstown Boxing Club.

Speaking to KCLR news this morning, Ollie O’Neill from the club says they’re not collecting any money at the moment, and people should be careful.
