People of Bagenalstown are urged to attend a public meeting later to help form an outline for the development of the area.
It’s been chosen by Carlow County Council for a Town First Plan which requires input from the community.
The first consultation takes place this evening from 7pm in McGrath Hall.
Secretary of the Bagenalstown Centre First Team David O’Brien told KCLR News; “We have a public consultation tonight in the McGrath Hall from 7 o’clock to 9 o’clock doing up a plan for Bagenalstown for the next ten, fifteen years to apply for funding for certain projects and we want the opinion of the people of Bagenalstown because it’s their town and it’s their plan and the more people that can come to Bagenlastown tonight to the McGrath Hall the more wider views we’ll have of the community”.
