Picnic in the Park taking place in Ferrybank to discuss plans for park

Parents and other community members in the Ferrybank area are being invited to discuss plans for the neighbourhood park today.

Picnic in the Park is taking place from 2 until 4 o’clock and you’re being encouraged to come along to the park on Aylesbury Road with a picnic basket.

The plans for the park include a playground, a multi-use games area, an outdoor exercise area and a meadow area for biodiversity.

Today’s event has been organised by Kilkenny Recreation and Sports Partnership along with the county council.
