Plans have been lodged for the development of a new 24-hour gym in Carlow Town.
The proposal would see an existing retail unit at Fairgreen Shopping centre converted into a Snap Fitness facility.

The works would include internal alterations, new studio and changing areas, as well as the installation of a staircase and lift.

A decision is due from the local authority in August.
