Post mortem taking place today on the body found in the River Barrow

A post mortem examination is to be carried out later today on a body of a man recovered from the River Barrow in Carlow.

The remains were discovered at about half-past-three on Monday afternoon at Orchard in Leighlinbridge.

The Post Mortem is due to take place at University Hospital Waterford today.
