Prepare to pay more at fuel pumps in Carlow and Kilkenny today

Local motorists need to prepare to pay more at the petrol and diesel pumps today.

It’s going to cost more to fill up fuel tanks as the price of both are increasing by four and three cent a litre, respectively.

It is because of the latest reversal of cuts to excise duty on motor fuel, implemented during the cost-of-living crisis when oil prices soared.
