Public meetings for Barrow Towpath developments to take place next week

Locals hoping to find out more about the plans to develop the Barrow towpath can do just that at one of the public information sessions planned for next week.

The free events organised by Waterways Ireland are to inform local people about the planning application that has just been lodged for the Barrow Multi-activity Trail.

The first is in Graiguenamanagh’s Scout Hall next Tuesday from 3-7pm with another in Carlow on Wednesday in the Seven Oaks Hotel, also from 3-7pm.

Two more are planned for Kildare in the Clanard Court Hotel and the Vicarstown Inn in Laois on Thursday and Friday of next week
