The owner of a puppy farm near Myshall in Carlow which was shut down by the council last month will appeal the decision in court.
350 animals – including dogs and horses- were removed from the site in Raheenleigh last month in a joint operation between the local authority, the ISPCA and Gardai.
Carlow county council served the owner with a closure order on April 16th.
KCLR news has learned that order is to be appealed now in the district court.
A date for that appeal to be heard has not yet been set.
