Radical plan needed to deal with safety concerns on a stretch of a north Kilkenny road according to County Council Chair

Extra care’s being urged for motorists on a north Kilkenny road where deer have been causing safety concerns.

The stretch at Kilrush, about two miles on the Urlingford side of Freshford, has seen the animals appear suddenly on the route, at times hitting vehicles – three times in the last month alone resulting in major damage as well as a deer having to be put down.
