Rail users on line that serves Carlow and Kilkenny hit by temporary suspension of services again today

Rail users were again hit with delays this afternoon.

On Friday all services to and from Dublin Heuston were suspended for a time while a tragic incident at Sallins was dealt with.

At 3 o’clock this afternoon services through Kildare were suspended on foot of a Garda request.

We understand that situation’s over and trains are back on track, though some have a ten minute extra wait.
