A Rally to support the repealing of the 8th Amendment is planned for Kilkenny this afternoon.
It’s being organised by the Repeal the 8th Carlow/Kilkenny group, and takes place at the town hall from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

The group says ‘Women’s healthcare will not be pushed underground’ and have called on people to join them for the hour.
Shackles in the form of the number 8 are being given out at the rally, and a video is also being shot.

It comes ahead of their national rally for the repeal on the 25th of October, when the AAA-PBP bill seeking a referendum on the 8th will be debated in the Dail.
