Rates review causing concern for Carlow businesses

A review of commercial rates is causing concern for businesses in Carlow.

That’s according to the Chamber of Commerce who have organised a seminar on just that to take place in the coming weeks.

At the moment rates in Carlow, Kilkenny and a number of other counties are being revaluated so that they’re distributed correctly across the different businesses in an area.

However, speaking to KCLR News, Brian O’Farrell of the Chamber says it’s vital local businesses inform themselves about this revaluation or they could end up being charged more than they should.
