Rathvilly through to Carlow football q-finals after win over Kilbride
Rathvilly made sure of a quarter final place in the Michael Lyng Motors senior football championship with a seven point win over Kilbride on a scoreline Rathvilly 0-18 Kilbride 2-5
It was all one way traffic with Rathvilly scoring twelve points at will in the opening half, Kilbride rallied in the last period with two Stephen Curry goals as they narrowed the gap to four points, Rathvilly regained composure and ran out seven point winners.
St. Andrews put in a storming second half as they came from 1-5 to 0-2 down to defeat O’Hanrahans by two points in the Talbot Hotel intermediate football championship final score.
