Organisers of the Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots Festival say it’s the biggest year they’ve ever had.
The curtain came down last night after crowds of people packed venues across the city to listen to artists for what is the 19th year of the event.
Willie Meighan says it was a huge success and went without a hitch.
He says early estimates put this year’s attendance figures up to 15% higher than last year’s – a record-breaking number.
