Relief expressed in Carlow as Dan Morrissey granted Examiner

There is widespread relief in Carlow this morning after Dan Morrissey’s was granted an examiner.

The decision, which was made by the High Court yesterday afternoon, means that 160 jobs have been saved.

A large crowd of councillors, TDs and workers awaited the decision in Carlow County Council yesterday.

One of those was Fine Gael’s Pat Deering. He says that the decision has given the company fresh hope.
