Revised planning permission’s been sought from Kilkenny County Council to bring a building that once served its community back into use.
Walsh’s in Dungarvan was a shop and home for many years.
A plan submitted to the local authority in late 2024 was rejected and appealed but last month a revamped proposal has been lodged seeking development to the protected structure.
Aim is to provide three self contained apartments with two further in an existing outbuilding and the construction of a single storey extension as well as site works. (Details here).
