Road users urged to take care this weekend as the bank holiday sets in
Road users across Carlow and Kilkenny are being urged to take extra care on the roads this weekend.
The August bank holiday weekend is one of the busiest on the country’s roads.
Driver fatigue is one of the things they will be focusing on for the next four days across Carlow and Kilkenny.
Since January this year, 93 people died on our roads in 89 collisions – that’s an increase of seven deaths and eight collisions on the same time last year.
The advice from GardaĆ this bank holiday weekend is slow down, and arrive alive.
