Delegates from Carlow and Kilkenny are among 350 set to attend the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s 107th annual conference which gets underway today in Dundalk.
Over 50 motions will be debated over the next three days, focusing on issues like safe staffing, burnout, assaults, and the cost of living, with additional emergency motions also set for discussion.
Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill will address attendees tomorrow (Thurs) while The Chief Executive of the Health Service Executive Anne O’Connor is scheduled to speak on Friday morning.
