Several reels of copper wire stolen from Carlow building site

Gardaí are seeking to track down those responsible for the theft of items from a Carlow building site.

It happened yesterday (Thursday, 9th July) morning between midnight and 7am.

Workers arriving to the site discovered that several reels of copper wire had been stolen.

Crime Prevention Officer Sgt Eddie Brennan told KCLR News; “It was on Montgomery Street it happened in Carlow so we’re appealing to anyone that was in the Montgomery Street or anywhere around Carlow or close by if they’d seen anything unusual they might contact Gardaí in Carlow in relation to that”.
