Shock and deep sadness are being felt following the sudden passing Carlow County Museum’s Curator.
A hugely respected figure, Dermot Mulligan dedicated 24 years to building the facility into one of the finest in the country.
Known for his passion, warmth, and commitment to local history, he leaves behind a lasting legacy and a bereft family and friend circle.
Funeral details will be announced later today (Wednesday, 3rd June) here.
The museum will remain closed as a mark of respect until further notice.
